Ken Victor has been trying to write poems for 35 years because he is under the influence of A Gift of Watermelon Pickle, the book of poems he read in Mr. Gibson’s 7th grade English class and which, unfortunately, entered his bloodstream like a narcotic and left him permanently addicted, awaiting the opening of the first Poetadone clinic.
